I will guide you when guidance is useful, especially during portraits, family photos or couple moments. But I will never force you into poses that feel strange or interrupt the natural flow of the day just to create a staged image. I prefer movement, conversation, humour, little pauses, real reactions and honest gestures.

My photography is rooted in reportage, documentary storytelling and candid observation. Before being a wedding photographer, I was already a writer and a photographer, always interested in people, places and the stories that happen quietly around us.

I pay attention to the main events, of course, but also to everything around them: the guests arriving, the hugs that last a little longer, the little jokes between friends, the table details, the nervous hands, the children running somewhere they probably should not run. Where I Photograph Weddings in Italy
Although I am based in Rome, I travel across Italy for weddings, elopements and intimate celebrations. Each region has a different rhythm, and I love adapting my photography to the place rather than forcing the same style everywhere.
In Tuscany, I am drawn to slow afternoons, long tables, vineyards, cypress roads, stone villages and countryside villas where the light seems to soften everything. It is perfect for couples who want a wedding day that feels warm, elegant and full of atmosphere.
In Umbria, I love the quietness. Towns like Spello, Assisi, Perugia, Orvieto and the surrounding countryside have a more intimate, poetic feeling. Umbria is ideal for couples who want beauty without too much noise, old stone streets, soft hills and a slower pace.
In Sicily, everything feels more cinematic: the sea, the heat, the architecture, the colours, the food, the late light. From Taormina to Palermo, from Noto to the smaller seaside villages, Sicily is full of character and emotion. It is a beautiful choice for couples who want their wedding photographs to feel alive, sun-soaked and deeply Mediterranean.
I also travel for weddings and elopements in Florence, Bologna, Venice, Lake Como, the Dolomites, the Amalfi Coast, Puglia and many other places across Italy and Europe. If your wedding is somewhere I have not photographed yet, even better. I love discovering a place with fresh eyes.

I live in Rome, and this city is one of the places I know most intimately. Rome is not only the Colosseum, the Spanish Steps and postcard views. Digital and 35mm Film Wedding Photography
Alongside digital photography, I also offer 35mm and medium format film photography. Film has a different soul. It is slower, more tactile and beautifully imperfect. It reacts to light in a way that often feels nostalgic, cinematic and honest.
For weddings, I usually use film to capture atmosphere, portraits, quiet gestures, movement, details and moments that benefit from a softer, more timeless feeling. Digital photography gives flexibility and reliability throughout the day, while film adds texture, grain and a sense of memory. I work with cameras such as the Leica M6, Contax G2, Canon AE-1 and Yashica Mat 124G. Depending on the wedding, I may photograph with both digital cameras and analogue film cameras throughout the day, creating a final gallery that feels rich, varied and personal.
A Calming Presence on Your Wedding Day
I know many couples feel awkward in front of the camera. That is completely normal. You do not need to know how to pose, where to look, or what to do with your hands. Actually, you do not need to perform at all.
My role is to create the right conditions for natural photographs. Sometimes that means giving you a small direction. Sometimes it means stepping back and letting the moment breathe. Sometimes it means making you laugh. Sometimes it means quietly disappearing into the background. During the day, I also take initiative when needed. I can help organise family photos, suggest the best light for a short couple session, adapt quickly if the timeline changes, and keep the photography part easy. The goal is simple: you should never feel that the camera is taking you away from your wedding.
Fine Art Print Included
Some photographs deserve to live outside a screen.
Depending on the package, I include a fine art print with your wedding photography. A fine art print is an archival pigment giclée print, created with high-quality pigment-based inks and fine art paper. It offers beautiful depth, detail and durability, turning one of your favourite images into something physical and lasting. Your online gallery is important, of course. But there is something different about holding a photograph in your hands, framing it, seeing it every day, and letting it become part of your home.

I photograph both full wedding days and shorter couples, elopement, or engagement sessions. Many couples book a session while visiting Italy, whether for an anniversary, engagement, or simply to celebrate their relationship.
Which areas of Italy do you cover?
I regularly work across Italy, including Rome, Tuscany, Sicily, and many other regions. Destination sessions and weddings in different parts of the country are welcome.
Do you travel outside of Italy?
Yes, I can travel for destination weddings and couples sessions outside of Italy when my calendar allows. While I am based in Italy, I am open to working in other countries depending on the dates and logistics. Feel free to share your location and plans so we can discuss the possibilities.
How does the booking process work?
After an initial conversation about your plans and preferences, I send a confirmation email with the agreed details. A 50% deposit secures the date, and the remaining balance is due closer to the shoot. From there, I take care of the rest so you can simply enjoy the day.
Pricing
Wedding photography packages start from 1850 EUR, depending on the location, duration, travel needs and whether you would like digital-only coverage or digital and 35mm film photography together.
To reserve the date, I ask for 50% of the total amount as a deposit. The remaining balance is paid according to the agreement we make together.
Every wedding is different, so I am always happy to create a custom package based on your plans. Whether you are organising a small wedding in Rome, a villa celebration in Tuscany, an intimate seaside ceremony in Sicily or a relaxed countryside wedding in Umbria, we can shape the coverage around your day.

- 8 hours of shooting
- Minimum 300 edited photos

- Once we agree on terms I send you a confirmation email and ask you to pay the first half of the total agreed amount so I fix the date.
