I’m Gökhan Kutluer, a destination wedding and couple photographer working between Paris and Rome. My partner lives in Paris, so I naturally divide my time between the two cities, both for work and for love. It makes photographing people in Paris even more special to me. I photograph intimate and medium-sized weddings in Paris and throughout France with a documentary approach. I stay close without interrupting. I observe rather than control. My focus is always on connection, atmosphere, and the small details that would otherwise disappear.
Whether you’re planning an intimate wedding in Paris, a celebration in the French countryside, or a gathering in Provence, Burgundy, or the Loire Valley, coverage can be half-day or full-day, depending on your plans.
Digital photography is always included, with the option to add 35mm analogue film photography for a more tactile, timeless layer to the story.

Elopement Photographer in Paris
An elopement in Paris can be many things.
A quiet ceremony. A long walk through unfamiliar streets. A pause by the river. A coffee, a glass of wine, a breath between moments.
I photograph Paris elopements without scripts or strict timelines. We choose the light, we choose a rhythm, and we let the city become a backdrop rather than a stage.
Whether you’re planning a simple civil ceremony or something entirely your own, I’ll be there to document it with care and discretion.
The total starts from 1000 EUR depending on your requests. The time we spend having breakfast, lunch, dinner, or simply enjoying a drink together won’t be counted towards the photography hours, even if I continue to photograph some moments along the way. I prefer these moments around the table to feel relaxed and unhurried for all of us.

Couple Photoshoot in Paris
Not everyone feels comfortable in front of a camera. Most of my couples tell me this at the beginning.
That’s fine. My couple photoshoots in Paris are designed as walks, not sessions. We move, we talk, we stop when something catches our attention. You don’t need to know how to pose. I’ll guide gently when needed and step back when it feels right.
These shoots are popular for engagements, honeymoons, anniversaries, or simply to mark a moment in your lives together.
Once we set the date I’ll ask you to pay half of the total amount. The total amount starts from 750 EUR depending on your requests. I’m always happy to curate custom packages to suit your unique needs, so please don’t hesitate to get in touch! The standard package includes:

- Minimum 40 edited photos
- One fine art print 20 x 30 cm

Where We Can Shoot in Paris
Paris offers endless possibilities for wedding, elopement and couple photography, but I don’t believe a photoshoot here should feel like a checklist of famous landmarks. The most beautiful images often come from the quieter corners of the city: a narrow street with soft morning light, a café terrace, a walk along the Seine, or a small pause in a square where the city feels almost still.
Depending on your story and the mood you want, we can shape the route around classic Parisian beauty or something more intimate and personal. The Seine, Île Saint Louis, Le Marais, Palais Royal, Montmartre, Luxembourg Gardens and the streets around Saint Germain can all work beautifully for a Paris couple photoshoot, elopement or intimate wedding session. But the location is never the whole point. What matters most is how you move through the city together.
I have always loved this side of Paris. During my first visit to the city, when I was still a student, I spent a lot of time in the cafés Ernest Hemingway wrote about in The Sun Also Rises and A Moveable Feast. Not because they were famous places to photograph, but because they carried a certain atmosphere, a sense of literature, memory and wandering. That is the kind of Paris I am drawn to.
If there is a café from a book or film you like as a couple, we can always go there, walk through the nearby streets and photograph spontaneously. The same goes for a place that simply feels meaningful to you, even if it is not famous. A hotel, a bookshop, a bridge, a small square, or a street you once noticed in a film can become part of the story.
My aim is not to make Paris look like a postcard, but to photograph you in a way that feels honest, elegant and connected to the atmosphere of the city.

Do you offer both digital and 35mm film wedding photography?
Yes! I work with both digital cameras and genuine 35mm analogue film. You can choose digital photography alone or combine the two formats for a more varied collection of images. I love the timeless colours, grain, and character of film, especially when documenting intimate moments, portraits, and the atmosphere of a wedding day.
Do you photograph elopements and small weddings in Paris?
Of course! I photograph everything from simple civil ceremonies and intimate elopements to medium-sized and full-day weddings. Whether you’re exchanging vows at a Parisian mairie, celebrating with a handful of friends, or organising a larger gathering somewhere in France, we can arrange the coverage around your plans rather than forcing your day into a fixed schedule.
Do you also offer engagement, honeymoon, and couple photoshoots in Paris?
Yes! Alongside weddings, I photograph engagements, proposals, honeymoons, anniversaries, and couples who simply want beautiful photographs together. My sessions are relaxed and spontaneous, often taking the form of a walk through Paris, with occasional stops for portraits, coffee, or anything that catches our attention.
We’re not comfortable posing. Is that a problem?
Not at all! Most couples tell me they feel awkward in front of a camera, and that’s perfectly normal. My photography is primarily documentary, meaning I focus on genuine interactions rather than staged poses. I’ll offer a little guidance whenever necessary, but most of the time, you can simply enjoy yourselves while I photograph what happens naturally.
Can you help us choose locations for our Paris photoshoot?
Definitely! I know plenty of beautiful corners of Paris, from Montmartre and Le Marais to the quieter streets of Saint Germain and Île Saint Louis. But I’m equally interested in discovering places that mean something to you. A favourite café, a bookshop, a neighbourhood, or even a location from a film you love can become part of our route.
Are travel and accommodation expenses included for weddings outside Paris?
For weddings elsewhere in France, I’ll prepare a personalised quotation based on the location, photography coverage, and necessary travel arrangements. Any travel and accommodation expenses will be clearly included in the proposal, so you’ll know the total cost before booking.
How far in advance should we book our wedding photographer?
For weddings, especially during the busy spring and summer months, getting in touch as early as possible is always a good idea. However, I also welcome last-minute enquiries whenever my schedule allows. Once we’ve discussed your plans and agreed on the details, I’ll send you a contract, and a 50% deposit will secure your date.
